New Monitoring and Evaluation Toolkit Available Online
Management Sciences for Health (MSH), as part of the Knowledge for Health (K4Health) project, has published an electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) toolkit, a collection of resources intended for use by project managers and M&E practitioners working in public health. The toolkit is organized in tabs according to the basic M&E project cycle that many organizations use and follow. The stages of the M&E cycle include:
- needs assessment/situation analysis;
- program planning;
- designing an M&E plan;
- baseline and follow-up evaluations;
- implementation and monitoring; and
- lessons learned.
Over 100 M&E tools and resources from MSH and other notable sources can be accessed through the M&E toolkit.
If you would like recommendations on using the M&E Toolkit or more information, please contact Laura O'Brien.
