What We Do

What We Do

Truly effective and lasting progress should involve every group that benefits from it, from government to private-clinic health workers and hard-to-reach patient groups. Our work is guided by more than 50 years of experience and the belief that working with our partners toward full local ownership is critical to long-lasting success.

We lead by supporting and collaborating with all levels of the health system—from government ministries to frontline health workers—to address key global health challenges and achieve universal and equitable health services for all, helping people build on what they already know to ultimately take charge of their own development—and their own health.
