Senior Principal Technical Advisor, Women’s, Children’s, and Adolescents’ Health

For more than 20 years, Martha Murdock has worked with government and nongovernmental agencies to design, implement, and evaluate advocacy programs to improve women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, with a focus on maternal health. She oversees our program work in Africa and Latin America and has expertise in strategy development and program management, as well as in programming on gender, rights, and culture. Formerly Vice President of Regional Programs at Family Care International (FCI), Murdock oversaw their advocacy work with project teams in more than 40 countries. Previous to FCI, she worked with Engenderhealth, the international division of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Spanish Commission on Refugee Assistance. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Paris and completed graduate studies at Middlebury College. She speaks Spanish, French, and English.
