Randy Wilson

Senior Principal Technical Advisor, Data, Health Information, and Measurement

David Randolph Wilson has more than 30 years of experience in international public health, with a focus on the design and implementation of management information systems and monitoring and evaluation. Wilson has worked as a systems analyst, programmer, logistics advisor, trainer, program evaluator, and health planner in numerous countries (including Rwanda, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Madagascar). After serving as Chief Information Officer for MSH, he moved to Rwanda as Health Information Systems Technical Advisor for two health systems strengthening projects supporting digital health strategic planning; implementation of systems for HMIS, disease surveillance, performance-based financing and community-based health insurance; and building capacity for operational research and data use at all levels of the health system. Wilson received his masters in public health from Johns Hopkins University.
