Zeine Abosse, MPH, BSc, is a technical advisor for the USAID-funded Health Workforce Improvement Program (HWIP) Project in Ethiopia. A public health specialist, Abosse has over 28 years of experience in designing, managing, and implementing public health programs in the areas of human resources for health (HRH), maternal and child health, integrated child health services, TB and HIV and AIDS prevention and control, disease prevention and health promotion, and integrated disease surveillance and epidemic control. Abosse was the technical advisor for the MSH-led, USAID-funded Strengthening Human Resources for Health (SHRH) project in Ethiopia. He has also served as a senior program officer for integrated child health services and team leader of senior health development planning, monitoring, and evaluation in Ethiopia. Abosse holds a master’s degree in public health and has experience as a master trainer and health mentor and coach. He began his career as a clinical practitioner in Ethiopia.
