Community Health Investment Case in Burkina Faso (French)

The National Community Health Strategy (SNSC) 2019-2023 for Burkina Faso, validated on December 28, 2018, seeks to set up a national health system which promotes preventative health and makes the community approach to primary health care the foundation for achieving universal health coverage. The SNSC aims to have a significant impact on population health by scaling up high-impact services at the community level. According to the Ministry of Health, the program will help to significantly reduce the rates of maternal, infant and neonatal mortality.

The Burkina Faso community health investment case is intended to facilitate efforts to effectively plan the implementation of the SNSC 2019-2023. The results of this analysis will also allow the Government of Burkina Faso and technical and financial partners to mobilize sufficient financial resources.
