Throughout his 20-year professional career, Ali Rajpoot has been responsible for the finance, accounting, and administrative activities of large, multifaceted development programs in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mozambique, Indonesia, Nigeria, Liberia, and the United States, demonstrating a keen ability to manage multiple projects operating in various high-risk and remote locations while ensuring compliance with international standards and the specific requirements of funders. He has extensive experience managing finances for USAID programs valued up to $150 million and has managed a $10 million portfolio of more than 100 grants.
Mr. Rajpoot holds an MBA with a concentration in finance and accounting and certifications as an auditor, accountant, and business administrator in the United States, the UK, Pakistan, and Canada. The majority of his roles have involved audit functions, whether as an auditor or in preparing for successful internal or independent audits by establishing strong, compliant financial systems and records. His expertise extends to establishing general administrative processes that effectively support program operations in complex and/or high-risk environments. He has a proven ability to form collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including community members, service providers, other program implementers, public- and private-sector donors, and governmental bodies at all levels.
