Andritiana Tsarafihavy holds the position of Malaria Specialist as part of the USAID Mikolo/ Madagascar Project. A trained doctor with 10 years of experience in the fight against malaria and tropical diseases, he was the initiator of the RDT introduction at community level in 2009, and he set up a surveillance system since 2015 in collaboration with the National Malaria Control Program during the implementation of the USAID Mikolo project. He is an active member of the RBM/Madagascar Group and the SBCC Working Group, and support RBM M&E group. In 2016, he participated in the annual SBCC / RBM meeting in Dakar. During the drafting of the new National Malaria Strategy for Madagascar 2018-2022, he highlighted the progress made in Madagascar over the past 5 years, particularly in case management and malaria in pregnant women.
