    Ehsanullah Darwish

    Senior Technical Advisor

    Ehsanullah Darwish, MD, currently supports the MSH-led, USAID-funded National Health Technical Assistance Program (NHTAP) in Afghanistan as a senior TB manager. With over ten years of experience in health management, Dr. Darwish previously worked with Afghanistan's National TB Program as TB manager and as a technical advisor, technical consultant, and technical coordinator with national and international organizations, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and MSH. He has managed TB capacity building programs for various levels of health staff as a master trainer; managed community-based directly observed treatment (CB-DOTS), short-course (DOTS), and Urban DOTS interventions; and engaged the private sector in TB activities. Dr. Darwish, a published author, social activist, and an experienced producer and presenter in private media, received his medical degree from Kabul Medical University.
