Hammouda Bellamine holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan. Since 1969, he has been working in public health, with a particular focus on community-based reproductive health. Hammouda has worked in more than 20 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, including the National School of Public Health in Rennes, France. During his time in Africa, he worked for the World Health Organization and on health projects funded by a diverse range of donors including USAID, the World Bank, and the International Planned Parenthood Federation. Since 2015, Hammouda has held the position of senior technical advisor for institutional capacity building under the Mali KJK project.
