Kizito Mrema has over ten years of experience in systems analysis, software development, and project management. He has worked with iPath, the country’s largest telemedicine tool to-date, as well as with electronic health management information system (e-HMIS) customization and deployment. He also managed the development and deployment of the long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLIN) distribution and management application for the Red Cross Society and the National Malaria Control Program under Hebet Technologies in the LLIN-Mass Replacement Campaign Project. In addition, he has worked with Softmed Limited as a project manager for software development projects, such as PATH’s TImR immunization tool, and USAID Boresha Afya's referral application. Prior to joining MSH, he was a software developer and analyst for John Snow, Inc. in their health interoperability layer implementation with the ministry of health.
