Lara Brearley is an MSH consultant on universal health coverage (UHC). Perviously, she worked as a senior health policy & research advisor at Save the Children UK, where she led the organization's advocacy on UHC and health in post-2015. She has authored various reports, including a recent collaboration with WHO, UNICEF and the Rockefeller Foundation on equity in pathways towards UHC. Lara has also worked for research institutes, NGOs, and the UN in Africa and Asia. She holds an MSc in health policy, planning and financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and an MA in history from Edinburgh University.
