Sandra Benjamin-Guerrier is Chief of Party for the USAID Rapid Support to the COVID-19 Response in Haiti project, led by MSH. After joining MSH in 2008, Benjamin-Guerrier served as Project Director for the USAID-funded, Leadership, Management and Sustainability (LMS) Project in Haiti where she oversaw the development and implementation of sustainable, cost-effective strategies focused on health system strengthening and supply chain management. For more than twelve years, she served as Project Director and Advisor for PAHO’s Essential Medicines Program (PROMESS project) in Haiti. She also provided technical support and guidance to the Haitian National Regulatory Authority of the Haitian Ministry of Health, promoting the rational use of medicines and improving access to quality essential drugs among the Haitian population. She is a licensed Pharmacist and holds a Master’s Degree in Management of Health Services, from Université de Montreal, in Canada.
