Ndinda Kusu, BPharm, MSc, MPH, serves as the Country Project Director for USAID's Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) Program based in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Kusu has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical care and 10 years experience in human and institutional capacity development: developing policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures; curricula, tools, conducting pre-service, in-service and on-the-job trainings and implementing continuous professional development. Prior to joining MSH in 2004, Kusu worked as a consultant clinical pharmacist in Rwanda and Kenya. Her technical area of expertise is health system strengthening including strengthening pharmaceutical systems; policy and governance; human and institutional capacity development. She has worked with the Kenya Medicines Regulatory Authority in strengthening pharmaceutical legislation, quality assurance and pharmacovigilance. Dr. Kusu has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and masters degrees in clinical pharmacy and public health.
