Technical Advisor, Digital Health & Health Economics
Sherri Haas serves as Technical Advisor, Digital Health & Health Economics in the Health Programs Group. Previously the mHealth Technical Officer for the African Strategies for Health Project, she has over nine years of experience in the design and implementation of quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, and project management. Areas of technical work include applied research and evaluation, mobile money and mhealth, health systems strengthening, and access to financial services for the poor. Prior to joining MSH, Sherri consulted for the World Bank in India on the Uttar Pradesh Health Systems Strengthening Project, and she served as a research analyst in the International Health Division of Abt Associates, and as program specialist for the IRIS Center at the University of Maryland. Sherri has designed and implemented research in rural and urban settings, including training and supervising local research assistants on study implementation. She has worked on projects with a range of donors and has field experience in East and West Africa, India, and the Caribbean. She holds a master’s degree in public policy with a focus on health and economic analysis from Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy.
