John Ariale

John Ariale is a government affairs and public policy leader with nearly 40 years of experience in congressional relations, legislative strategy, and advocacy. He brings extensive expertise in federal appropriations, international affairs policy, and coalition-building, with a career focused on helping organizations navigate complex policy environments and advance initiatives that strengthen systems and expand opportunity.
Ariale currently serves as Managing Director of the Washington, D.C. office of GrayRobinson, where he advises domestic and international clients on government relations, legislative engagement, and federal policy strategy. His work spans a range of sectors including global development, defense, homeland security, environmental policy, and financial services.
Earlier in his career, Ariale served as chief of staff and appropriations associate to U.S. Congressman Ander Crenshaw, working closely with House leadership and committees responsible for State and Foreign Operations, Homeland Security, Financial Services, and Defense appropriations. He also held senior roles with Congressman Bill McCollum, including chief of staff and district director, where he helped secure key federal authorizations and appropriations and built strong bipartisan partnerships across government and civil society.
Ariale has also been a longstanding advocate for inclusion and economic opportunity for people with disabilities. He played a role in advancing the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act, legislation that expanded financial independence and economic security for individuals with disabilities and their families.
He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Global Health Council and as its interim president. Ariale holds a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and a B.A. from Stetson University.
