What We Do

What We Do

We collaborate with all levels of the health system—from government ministries to frontline health workers—to address key global health challenges and achieve universal and equitable health services for all, helping people to ultimately take charge of their own development—and their own health.

We transform health systems by prioritizing robust primary health care, efficient data use, and a skilled workforce. We take bold steps to move toward universal health coverage working with local and country-based partners to help shape and implement programs and policies that are inclusive and equitable. We address the biggest global health challenges partnering with local actors to prevent the spread of disease and protect health workers, patients, and communities.
