Nmachi Jidenma is a venture capital investor and technology executive with extensive experience at the intersection of innovation, global strategy, governance, and cross-sector partnership development. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Exanovo Capital, an investment firm that partners with early-stage technology companies building the infrastructure, platforms, and systems shaping the future of the global economy.
Previously, Jidenma held senior leadership roles at General Catalyst, Sequoia Capital, and Meta, where she led global strategy and business development initiatives for Facebook and WhatsApp across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
At WhatsApp, she led strategic partnerships with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, ministries of health, and United Nations agencies during the COVID-19 pandemic to support large-scale public health communications and vaccination access initiatives worldwide. Throughout her career, she has focused on leveraging technology, partnerships, and innovation to strengthen institutions, expand access, and improve economic and social outcomes at scale.
Jidenma brings governance experience spanning technology, entrepreneurship, and economic development. She serves on the Board of Directors of the CCHub Investment Company, which backs high-growth technology startups across Africa, and on the Board of Trustees of the Goddy Jidenma Foundation, which advances leadership and economic development initiatives across the continent.
A frequent speaker at leading international forums, Jidenma advises founders, investors, corporations, and nonprofit leaders on innovation, digital transformation, emerging technologies, and technology-enabled economic development. Her career has been defined by building bridges across sectors, geographies, and institutions to accelerate meaningful and lasting impact.
Jidenma holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Grinnell College.
