Three-Year Milestones: Strengthening Uganda’s Health Supply Chain

The Three-Year Milestones report showcases Uganda’s progress in building a modern, country-led health supply chain that ensures uninterrupted access to essential medicines and health supplies. Through strategic investments, policy reforms, and digital innovations, Uganda is advancing toward a self-sustaining, donor-independent supply chain.

Uganda’s 10-Year National Health Supply Chain Roadmap, a government-led strategy to maximize resources, strengthen institutional capacity, and promote accountability, was launched in January 2022 with support from MSH through the USAID Uganda Strengthening Supply Chain Systems Activity (SSCS). The roadmap emphasizes a “one-government” approach, bringing together ministries, agencies, and partners to align priorities and accelerate progress.
