Arlington, VA | June 26, 2026 | Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Dr. Nanette Cocero, Nmachi Jidenma, and Dr. Manpreet Singh.
Collectively, the new Board members bring exceptional experience spanning global health, vaccines, technology, finance, strategy, innovation, and country partnership. Their appointments come at a pivotal moment for global health, as countries and institutions navigate evolving financing realities, rising demands on health systems, and growing momentum toward locally led development and sustainable health system strengthening.
“MSH has always believed that lasting progress comes from strong partnerships, practical leadership, and systems built to endure,” said John Isaacson, Chair of the MSH Board of Directors. “Nanette, Nmachi, and Manpreet each bring extraordinary expertise and perspective, but just as importantly, they share a deep commitment to country-led progress and equitable access to health care. Their guidance will help position MSH for the future while remaining grounded in the mission and values that have defined the organization for more than five decades.”

Nmachi Jidenma is a venture capital investor and technology executive with extensive experience across digital transformation, innovation, and global partnerships. She previously held senior leadership roles at General Catalyst, Sequoia Capital, Meta, and WhatsApp, where she led partnerships with organizations such as the World Health Organization and UNICEF during the COVID-19 pandemic to support public health communication and vaccine access efforts worldwide. She currently serves as Founder and Managing Partner of Exanovo Capital.
Dr. Manpreet Singh is a global health strategy and systems strengthening leader with more than two decades of experience working with governments, foundations, and international organizations across Africa and India. He currently serves as Deputy Director for Strategy, Planning, and Management in the Global Development Division at the Gates Foundation, where he supports strategic planning and operational prioritization across major global health and development portfolios.
“At a time of so much change and uncertainty across global health and development, I continue to be deeply grateful that leaders of this caliber are excited to join and support MSH’s mission,” said Marian W. Wentworth, President and CEO of MSH. “Their time and expertise are in extraordinary demand, yet they have chosen to invest that time with us because they share our belief in a world where everyone everywhere has the opportunity for a healthy life. Each brings different strengths and perspectives that will help MSH continue evolving thoughtfully, strengthening country partnerships, and supporting resilient health systems for the future.”
MSH’s Board of Directors provides governance and strategic oversight in support of the organization’s mission to work shoulder-to-shoulder with countries and communities to build strong, resilient, and sustainable health systems that improve health outcomes for all.
