Blended Financing for Social Impact: Designing Programs to Attract New Investments

MSH experts are joining global peers at the 2025 International Fundraising Congress (IFC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands, from October 13–17, 2025, alongside more than 500 leaders from over 70 countries focused on innovative approaches to financing social impact. This year’s theme, “Catalyzing Change Together,” explores how collaboration and creativity can drive new models for sustainable development financing. 

MSH is leading two masterclasses and two workshops on Blended Financing for Social Impact, highlighting lessons from Africa and Asia on designing health programs that attract private capital and scale local innovation. 

Mini Masterclass Sessions 

The Blended Financing for Social Impact mini masterclass equips participants with practical tools to design social programs that draw in new capital through innovative financing mechanisms. Participants will explore: 

• Key principles and benefits of blended finance 

• Country experiences demonstrating success in attracting private investment 

• Strategies for stakeholder engagement—investors, outcome payers, and intermediaries
