Senior Principal Technical Advisor

Bawinile “Winnie” Moyo is a Senior Principal Technical Advisor for health supply chains with more than 15 years of private, commercial, and public supply chain experience in Southern Africa. She serves as the Global Warehousing and Distribution Team Lead for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management. In this role, she provides strategic direction to more than 30 countries to ensure the proper warehousing and timely distribution of commodities and assists stakeholders in resource-constrained environments to integrate Global Standards 1 (GS1) protocols and leverage key supply chain attributes through the integration and use of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) via Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions. Prior to that, Moyo served as Health System Strengthening Director for the Angola project, where she led the implementation of Angola’s first electronic logistics management information system. She has also worked in private sector supply chain roles over the course of her career.

Moyo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Commerce degree specializing in supply chain management from the University of Johannesburg and an Honors degree in logistics management from the University of South Africa.
