Chief Programs Officer and Executive Vice President

Colleen McGuffin is Chief Programs Officer and Executive Vice President at MSH, where she oversees the Global Health Program Delivery Group (PDG); Strategy, Business Development, and Partnerships (SBDP); and Global Health Systems Innovation (GHSI).

From 2018-2024, she was Chief People and Culture Officer of MSH. McGuffin has extensive leadership and culture-shaping experience from a diversity of global roles. Most recently, she served in various Vice President roles at Merck & Co, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. McGuffin’s roles at Merck span over a decade in customer engagement, marketing, vaccine strategy, in addition to global medical and policy affairs. Her most recent role at Merck including leading the over $5B US Vaccines Business Unit in addition to developing and leading the International Medical Affairs, Policy and Developing World organizations. It was this role that has inspired her to dedicate her leadership experience to doing more for the poorest and most vulnerable populations in the world.

McGuffin’s earlier experience included serving as an Executive Vice President at Cardinal Health, start-up company executive roles and multiple roles in the global travel management industry during a dynamic and challenging industry period.

McGuffin holds a Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and Management from Northwood University. McGuffin’s primary office is based in Medford, MA.
