Principal Technical Advisor and Health Financing Francophone Lead
Felana Rajomarison is a Principal Technical Advisor and Health Financing Francophone Lead in the Health Economics and Financing (HEF) Practice area at MSH’s Global Health Systems Innovation group. In this role, she leads the Health Insurance Management and Pooling technical workstream and manages the HEF’s growing portfolio of health financing initiatives in Francophone regions.
Specializing in health management, health insurance, and pooling mechanisms, Rajomarison has 15 years of experience in developing accessible health micro-insurance products for vulnerable populations, assessing the viability and potential impact of health programs, and using process-oriented approaches to improve healthcare systems.
Rajomarison has extensive experience in private and development sectors, having worked for leading firms in management consulting and social protection across Europe, the Indian Ocean, Africa, and Asia. She began her career in insurance systems at GENERALI France and further specialized in designing, reforming, and managing social protection systems and health insurance schemes in low-income countries while working with Palladium, Abt Global, and Positive Planet International. Prior to this, she worked with AXIAN Group, where she developed the Group’s HR policies, procedures, and achieved Top Employer certification.
Rajomarison holds a master’s degree in project management from the University Paris 1 Sorbonne (France), a master’s degree in public administration from the University Paris XII Val de Marne (France), and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Ecole Centrale Paris Executive Education (France).
