Webinar: Is Government-led Contracting in Low- and Middle-Income Countries a Viable Strategy for the Delivery of Selected Health Services?

This webinar is part of USAID’s Health Systems Strengthening Learning Series.

Government-led contracting of the private sector (not for profit and commercial) is one tool for supporting delivery of selected health services. On December 3, 2024, MSH-led USAID’s Health Systems for Tuberculosis (HS4TB) project hosted a webinar debate and Q&A on whether contracting the private health sector is an important approach for health service delivery in low- and middle-income countries.

The webinar was a discussion with public health leaders on where contracting is either being established or currently implemented in Bangladesh, India, and other high tuberculosis burden countries. This webinar was held as part of USAID’s Health Systems Strengthening Learning Series.
