Management Sciences for Health Welcomes Colleen McGuffin as Chief People and Culture Officer
Medford, MA—March 19, 2018—Management Sciences for Health (MSH) announced today the appointment of Colleen McGuffin as its new Chief People and Culture Officer.
Colleen joins MSH as the newest member of the MSH Senior leadership team. Colleen has extensive leadership and culture-shaping experience from a diversity of global roles ranging from healthcare and pharmaceuticals to the travel industry. Most recently, she served as a Vice President in Vaccines at Merck & Co, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Colleen’s work at Merck included customer engagement, marketing, vaccine strategy, in addition to global medical and policy affairs. Before joining Merck, Colleen served as an Executive Vice President & General Manager at Cardinal Health, a large US-based medical supplies and logistics company, and as President of NexGen RX Marketing, a start-up company dedicated to the development and delivery of next-generation speaker and promotional program effectiveness. Her background includes substantial international and developing world experience.
Colleen will focus on organizational culture and lead MSH’s human resources management team. Her role will be critical to harnessing the power of people to tackle the most difficult problems in global health. She will develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, develop, and engage employees in a diverse workforce currently operating in 36 countries and historically in over 150 countries. Bringing her deep expertise in change management and her ability to communicate initiatives and policies to broad constituencies, Colleen will focus on strengthening MSH’s management, talent, culture, and leadership.

Colleen holds a Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and Management from Northwood University. Colleen’s primary office will be based in Medford, MA.
