Established as a locally governed subsidiary of MSH, MSH Nigeria reflects the organization’s long-term commitment to partnering with Nigerian institutions to build strong, resilient health systems. For more than two decades, MSH has worked alongside Nigerian leaders to strengthen workforce capacity, improve primary health care delivery, and support the institutions responsible for protecting public health.
The creation of MSH Nigeria Ltd/GTE represents an evolution of that partnership—placing leadership, governance, and operational capacity closer to the institutions and communities the work serves, while remaining connected to MSH’s global technical expertise and learning.
Through this model, MSH Nigeria advances nationally driven solutions that strengthen workforce capacity, improve health system performance, and expand access to essential services.

Chidozie Ezechukwu, Managing Director

Chidozie Ezechukwu is a health economist and global health expert with over 15 years of experience developing health policies and programs for, and providing strategic and technical assistance to, governments and global health institutions.
Ezechukwu previously was Executive Secretary of Nigeria’s Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) for the Global Fund, where he oversaw the mobilization and oversight of grants worth over $2 billion for HIV, TB, malaria, and COVID-19, as well as for supporting resilient and sustainable health systems. Prior to that, he occupied the dual role of Special Assistant to the Director General of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) and Coordinator of NACA’s Global Fund grants worth over $159 million for HIV and for Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health. With NACA, he led country-scale community-based programs and provided technical assistance to national and sub-national entities on strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
Ezechukwu holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Liverpool, a master’s degree in health economics, policy, and management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a certificate in leadership development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Isaac Adejo, Project Director

Isaac Adejo is a public health program leader with over 18 years of experience managing large-scale health programs in Nigeria. As Project Director for the Global Fund Malaria Grant at MSH Nigeria, he leads multi-state implementation, overseeing program strategy, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
He previously served as National Program Manager at Ipas Nigeria and held senior roles with organizations including AHNi and FHI 360, managing complex malaria and HIV programs. His experience spans strategic planning, donor engagement, and performance management across national programs.
Isaac holds an MBA from Usmanu Danfodiyo University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Ahmadu Bello University. He is a certified Project Management for Development Professional and a member of Project Management Institute (PMI).
John Adedoyin, Project Director

John Adedoyin is a public health program management expert with over 20 years of experience leading large-scale, donor-funded programs in Nigeria. His work spans health systems strengthening, supply chain management, and data-driven program delivery across HIV, TB, malaria, and COVID-19 programs.
He currently serves as Project Director for the Evidence-Informed Technical Advocacy for HPV Vaccine Introduction in MSH Nigeria, providing strategic leadership for implementation and stakeholder engagement. Previously, he led national health system strengthening efforts at the National Agency for the Control of AIDS, overseeing a portfolio exceeding $270 million.
John has held senior roles with MSH, Abt Associates, JSI, and ICAP. He holds a master’s degree in Epidemiology and Community Health from the University of Ilorin and a bachelor’s degree in Zoology.
Anddy Omoluabi, Project Director

Anddy Omoluabi is a senior public health leader with over 25 years of experience designing and delivering health systems strengthening programs across Nigeria and Africa. As Project Director for the Equitable Expansion of Community Health Workers (EECHeW) program at MSH Nigeria, he leads efforts to expand and strengthen the community health workforce in alignment with national priorities.
He previously served as Country Director for the USAID-funded Health Workforce Management Activity, leading a $19 million program to strengthen workforce systems in underserved areas. His career includes multiple senior leadership roles at MSH, including Chief of Party for major HIV and health systems programs, including Chief of Party for the Care and Treatment for Sustained Support (CaTSS) project, Director of Program Implementation, AIDS Care and Treatment Project (PRO-ACT), Director of Regional Programs, Building Local Capacity for Delivery of HIV Services in Southern Africa Project (BLC). Anddy holds a PhD in Public Health from Atlantic International University, and master’s degrees in Medical Geography and Geographic Information Systems from the University of Ibadan.
Afa Ikparen, Partnerships & Business Development

Senior Business Development Manager, MSH Nigeria
Afa Ikparen is a public health and business development leader with over 12 years of experience in resource mobilization, partnerships, and program design. As Senior Business Development Manager at MSH Nigeria, she leads donor engagement and strategic positioning, driving growth through high-quality proposal development and partnerships with government, donors, and local organizations.
Previously, she served as New Business Development and Resource Mobilization Advisor at MSI Reproductive Choices, where she secured over $21 million in funding and built partnerships with global donors. She has also led project implementation and supported the transition of donor-funded programs to government systems, while helping expand access to reproductive health services.
Afa holds a master’s degree in public health and a postgraduate degree from Glasgow Caledonian University, along with certifications in project and grants management.

Expansion of Nigeria’s Community Health Workforce
MSH Nigeria is partnering with government and the Mastercard Foundation to support the expansion and professionalization of Nigeria’s community health workforce. The initiative focuses on:
– Reskilling and upskilling community health workers
– Strengthening supervision and performance systems
– Supporting national workforce planning and institutional capacity
– Expanding inclusive employment pathways for women and youth
The initiative reflects MSH Nigeria’s role as long-term partner supporting Nigeria’s priorities for workforce development and primary health care.
