Abstract
The government of Uganda, through its Ministry of Health, has helped raise awareness about public health threats, like HIV/AIDS, by incorporating relevant content into primary and secondary school education. This policy brief, targeted at policymakers in Uganda involved in school curricula, advocates for similarly integrating content on combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) into primary and secondary school curricula—a decision that would align with efforts by the country’s National AMR Subcommittee to create awareness as part of Uganda’s National Action Plan on AMR.
