How can hospitals make smarter, evidence-driven decisions about medical technologies — even amid resource constraints? A new study in the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care documents Ukraine’s pioneering effort to implement hospital-based health technology assessment (HB-HTA), including a tailored training program and pilot testing at a major cardiovascular center.
