Management Sciences for Health Appoints New General Counsel
Arlington, VA—October 21, 2019—Management Sciences for Health (MSH), a leading global health NGO, announced today the appointment of Paul M. Zimmerman as its new General Counsel.

Mr. Zimmerman joins MSH from the Inter-American Foundation in Washington, DC, where he served as General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Ethics Officer. In those roles, he provided strategic guidance and advice to the Foundation’s Board of Directors, CEO, and Leadership Team on a broad range of legal, policy, operational, and risk management issues.
Before his tenure at the Inter-American Foundation, Mr. Zimmerman held a number of positions in government and nonprofit organizations, including as Associate General Counsel at the Peace Corps, Special Investigative Counsel at the Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General, Senior Counsel at The Nature Conservancy, and Executive Director of Playworks DC.

Mr. Zimmerman received his JD from Brooklyn Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
