Management Sciences for Health to Support the Joint Learning Network as the JLN Enters a New Phase

Arlington, VA—October 22, 2018—Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage (JLN) Steering Group to serve as Network Manager under a three-year grant agreement with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In this role, MSH will support JLN country members with network coordination and management and work closely with the Steering Group, the World Bank, and other partners to implement the JLN’s 2018-2022 strategy.

Since 2010, the JLN has connected policymakers and health systems reformers through a country-owned and country-led community that fosters joint learning to overcome the challenges countries face as they implement universal health coverage (UHC). During this time, the JLN has grown rapidly from its six original founding members to 33 current members and will enter a new phase guided by its 2018-2022 strategy.

Over the next three years, MSH will support the JLN, leveraging its institutional expertise in learning, leadership, and management, as well as MSH’s more than 40 years of experience working shoulder-to-shoulder with countries and communities.
