Management Sciences for Health Welcomes Erica Martin as Chief of Staff

Arlington, VA—February 5, 2024—Management Sciences for Health (MSH) announced today the appointment of Erica Martin as Chief of Staff to the CEO. In this role, Martin will oversee the organization’s Leadership Team’s initiatives to ensure that MSH maximally delivers on its mission, executes its strategy, and honors its commitments to addressing health disparities.

“I am thrilled to work with Erica, whose commitment to global development and experience managing complex operations make her a very exciting addition to our organization,” said MSH President and CEO Marian W. Wentworth. “With a bold organizational strategy on hand, the role of Chief of Staff will be crucial to MSH’s success and to the positive change we seek to make strengthening health systems in low- and middle-income countries.”

Most recently, Martin was a Senior Director at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), where she managed key cross-cutting activities on behalf of the CEO, including leading and overseeing the agenda setting of EGPAF’s various leadership teams, serving as the primary liaison with the Board of Directors, and managing all communication and messaging for the President’s office.

Her earlier experience includes leading USAID business development at the Institute of International Education in training, capacity development, women’s leadership, and higher education programming. She held several roles at Chemonics International, managing strategic and operational issues across a range of technical sectors for USAID-funded programs in the Middle East and Europe/Eurasia.
