MSH at the Third Global Health Security Conference

MSH was proud to attend the third Global Health Security conference in Sydney, Australia, June 18–21, where leaders, researchers, and policy makers worldwide shared their work and experience, reviewed the latest research, and developed solutions for a safer and healthier world. Our delegation presented MSH’s extensive work enhancing infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols and helping countries around the world combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

Skills Building Workshop: Combating AMR in Resource-Constrained Settings 

This workshop offered practical experience to health care professionals, public health officials, policy makers, donors, and implementers on strategies to improve antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) and IPC in health facilities in resource-constrained settings. We used case studies and scenarios from our implementation of AMS and IPC interventions in various countries to facilitate group discussions and generate practical recommendations that participants can adapt for their local contexts.
