MSH Presence at the 6th Global Health Security Agenda Ministerial Meeting

The 6th Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) Ministerial Meeting was hosted in by Thailand under the theme, “Bridging Cooperative Action for Global Health Security” from November 18-20, 2020. The Ministerial Meeting aims to strengthen multidisciplinary engagement and multisectoral coordination while emphasizing the importance of financial preparedness for health threats. A series of high-level side meetings were held on the fringes of the Ministerial to take stock of progress and the top priorities and actions needed going forward on various fronts of the multisectoral effort to reach global targets for health security.

MTaPS session: Fostering Multisectoral Coordination in Countries to Effectively Contain Antimicrobial Resistance

The MSH-led, USAID-funded Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) Program presented its work at one of side events titled, “Moving Toward Best Practices in Multisectoral Coordination: Integrating Environment and Health to Strengthen Capacities to Prevent, Detect and Respond,” organized by the GHSA Consortium under the GHSA Advocacy and Communications Task Force.
