MSH Launches the Leadership, Management and Sustainability (LMS) Program

CAMBRIDGE, MA (OCTOBER 26, 2005) − From 2000-2005, MSH implemented the highly successful Management and Leadership (M&L) Program, a cooperative agreement funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). M&L aimed to improve health care around the world by strengthening the performance of health organizations. Building upon this foundation, USAID has initiated the Leadership, Management and Sustainability (LMS) Program to scale up and mainstream management and leadership practices.

MSH Wins Micronutrient Award from USAID

CAMBRIDGE, MA (NOVEMBER 01, 2005)— Management Sciences for Health was recently awarded the A2Z cooperative agreement, as a subcontractor to the Academy for Educational Development (AED). The purpose of A2Z is to implement and strengthen micronutrient programs to improve the nutrition and health of vulnerable populations; provide global technical leadership in micronutrients; and support organizations working to prevent child blindness. The A2Z Project, funded by USAID's Global Health's Office of Health, Infectious Diseases, and Nutrition is expected to total $85 million over five years.
