Optimizing Health Supply Chain Performance through Data-Driven Decision-Making
MSH hosted the webinar, Optimizing Health Supply Chain Performance through Data-Driven Decision-Making, on October 17, 2024, to discuss practical strategies for using data, learning, and adaptations to strengthen the performance of national health supply chain systems. The webinar was hosted by the USAID-funded Uganda Strengthening Supply Chain Systems (SSCS) Activity and featured remarks from USAID, the Ministry of Health, Uganda Health Activity, and the National Information Technology Authority.
Panelists emphasized the need to integrate data platforms, mobilize financing, and invest in human resource leadership to support the generation of quality consumption data for effective national supply chain management. Audience members learned more about the impact of data use on maintaining high stock availability, low wastage, and increased government funding.
