TB Program in Ethiopia Finds Innovative Ways to Improve Specimen Referral Service

The USAID Eliminate TB Project (2020–2025), led by MSH, collaborates with the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) and the National TB, Leprosy, and other Lung Diseases Program (NTLLDP) to enhance Ethiopia’s TB specimen referral and laboratory network. The project aims to maximize the efficiency of the specimen transportation service and improve access to advanced diagnostic services, including GeneXpert machines and other specialized tests, at both national and regional levels.
