Uganda SSCS Impact Story—September 2024: Health Supply Chain Centers of Excellence Implementation in Referral Hospitals in Uganda

With support from the USAID Strengthening Supply Chain Systems (SSCS) Activity, Uganda’s referral hospitals are becoming Health Supply Chain Centers of Excellence (CoEs). From strategic mentorship and rigorous assessments to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, 14 of 22 regional referral hospitals reached CoE status—strengthening national health system resilience and cascading best practices to lower-level facilities.
