Management Sciences for Health’s Amy Boldosser-Boesch Named Chair of Global Health Council

Arlington, VA—April 25, 2024— MSH congratulates Amy Boldosser-Boesch for her appointment as incoming chair of the Global Health Council, the leading member organization devoted to advancing global health priorities by uniting advocates, implementers, policy makers, and other stakeholders. With a career in health policy and advocacy spanning more than two decades, Boldosser-Boesch is a distinguished leader in the field. She currently serves as MSH’s Senior Director and Practice Area Lead for Health Policy, Advocacy and Engagement and Integrated Health Care. She oversees MSH’s work and teams dedicated to improving women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health and person-centered primary health care and leads advocacy and accountability efforts for improved sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, and adolescent health and universal health coverage. Boldosser-Boesch also manages the Secretariat for the Civil Society Engagement Mechanism of UHC2030, which is hosted by MSH.

“I’m deeply honored to be elected incoming Chair of the Board of the Global Health Council starting in 2025,” said Boldosser-Boesch. “As a long-time member of GHC and in my role as a Board member, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of our collective voice and the power of our members to advance policy and investments in global health.”

Boldosser-Boesch will succeed current chair Kate Dodson, the Vice President for Global Health at the United Nations Foundation. Dodson, in her endorsement of Boldosser-Boesch’s appointment, remarked, “Amy’s dedication to global health and her extensive experience make her the perfect choice to lead GHC into its next chapter.”

Global Health Council President Elisha Dunn-Georgiou expressed her enthusiasm for Boldosser-Boesch’s appointment, stating, “Amy brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission. I am thrilled to work with her as GHC continues to drive positive change and make meaningful strides towards achieving health for all.”

Global Health Council also welcomed four new Board members, expanding the Board to 17 members.
