Advancing Country-Led Solutions for TB Elimination

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) has been a leader in the global TB community for decades, working alongside national TB programs and local organizations to strengthen the systems that prevent, find, and treat tuberculosis. The Union conference has always been a place where those partnerships and shared learning come into focus.

This year, our participation reflects both continuity and change. While the global TB response faces new constraints, including reduced international financing, Ethiopia and other countries we support continue to demonstrate what consistent investment in national capacity can achieve.

Our Focus at The Union 2025

We are contributing data and experience from Ethiopia’s Eliminate TB project, including insights into emerging tools and approaches that strengthen national responses:

• Oral presentation – “Early treatment outcomes for the six-month BPaLM regimen under programmatic conditions in Ethiopia”
• E-poster – “High TB infection rates in two rural districts of Ethiopia: Implications for enhanced TB preventive treatment”

These studies reflect collaboration between the National TB Program, regional health bureaus, local research institutions, and project partners including MSH.
