Management Sciences for Health Accredited to Deliver Prestigious Supply Chain Management Professional Development Course
Arlington, VA—July 15, 2022— Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is pleased to announce it has achieved accreditation to deliver the Strategic Training Executive Programme 2.0 (STEP), a supply chain management professional development course developed by GAVI, the vaccine alliance; the Global Fund; and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). The course aims to strengthen the capacity of supply chain leaders and managers in low-resource countries.
“Our five decades of experience in supply chain management will help leaders boost supply chain resiliency and efficiency to improve health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries,” said Andrew Brown, MSH’s Senior Principal Technical Advisor for governance and capacity development.
MSH’s expertise in supply chain management makes it an ideal provider of the program to governments, the private sector, and nonprofit organizations. The program is free to participants.
Coordinated by People that Deliver, a UNICEF-sponsored global coalition, the 4-month program combines virtual and facilitator-led classroom sessions for participants to work through real-world challenges as well as connect and network with peers and industry leaders.
Through the program, MSH will gain access to private-sector supply chain management mentors who provide further support as participants apply their developing skills to their workplace. MSH staff will lead the delivery of the program, empowering managers and other supply chain professionals to solve local supply chain problems.
