Fact Sheet: PLAN-Health Key Results
The five-year Program to Build Leadership and Accountability in Nigeria’s Health System (PLAN-Health) was funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and implemented by MSH. PLAN-Health was a transformative program designed to strengthen the institutional capacity of public sector institutions and civil society organizations for improved health and HIV and AIDS service delivery at the federal, state, and local levels in Nigeria. It operated in three states and has trained 1,570 health professionals from 52 organizations.
