All health systems face the challenge of managing and allocating limited resources. While all countries have committed to moving toward universal health coverage, many struggle to meet the health needs and demands of their populations for a number of reasons, including limited and inefficient allocation of resources. We work to ensure that countries have the tools to determine the value of a health technology—a drug, vaccine, diagnostic test, medical device, or procedure—to promote an equitable, efficient, and high-quality health system.
